Terms of Service

Last updated: August 3, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Zod Agent software, website, and related services ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Zod Agent is a client-side, agentic AI chat workspace that runs in your browser. It runs locally on your device and connects to the AI providers you configure. There is no hosted backend and no account.

  1. Access and Use — You may use the Service for your own purposes. AI Outputs are generated by third-party models and may contain errors; you are responsible for verifying anything you rely on. Beta features are provided as-is.
  2. Eligibility — You must be 18 or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service.
  3. Local Data — Your workspace data is stored locally on your device in your browser's storage. You are responsible for backing it up via Settings → Export data. Clearing browser storage or removing the extension/app deletes your data.
  4. Third-Party Providers — The Service sends requests directly to the AI providers you configure. You are responsible for your API keys and for complying with each provider's terms. We are not responsible for third-party services or their outputs.
  5. Use Restrictions — You may not reverse engineer the Service, extract or replicate underlying models, scrape the Service, or use it to violate any law or the rights of others.
  6. Ownership — The Service is owned by Zod. You retain all rights to your content and data. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the Service.
  7. Privacy — Your use is subject to our Privacy Policy.
  8. Modification of Terms — We may modify these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
  9. Modification of the Service — We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with notice where reasonable.
  10. Disclaimer of Warranties — The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  11. Limitation of Liability — To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zod shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
  12. Governing Law — These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
  13. Contact — Zod, contact@zodagent.com.
